Wealth Wise is an innovative initiative targeting middle school students to bridge the gap in financial literacy within Arizona's challenging educational landscape. Through meticulous research, they aim to develop a comprehensive curriculum covering budgeting, investment, credit management, and banking principles, fostering critical thinking and financial independence. Collaborations with educators and interactive teaching methods are central to their approach, envisioning a future where financial literacy is fundamental to education, empowering a financially secure society.

This thesis focuses on describing what white-collar crime is, how it impacts our society, the nature of deterrence, and examines the strengths and weaknesses of methods from the twenty-first century used by governmental leaders to deter white-collar crime. After conducting research, I have concluded that the most effective deterrence for white-collar crime is to increase individuals’ punishment severity, increase enforcement through corporate compliance programs and to treat corporations more leniently in turn for implementing meaningful compliance programs. In addition to this, I recommend delegating the responsibility to the Department of Justice to begin recording every single white-collar criminal offense in a public database as well as create a crime index for white-collar crime. This will increase the transparency of how detrimental white-collar crime is to our society as well as provide more substantial statistics to conduct studies on to continue finding the best deterrence to white-collar crime.

Logos are a vital part of a company’s brand. They are what catches people’s eyes and is a symbol that people associate the company with. Even if one forgets the name of a company or what they specialize in, a memorable and unique logo can linger within an individual's mind and can keep the memory of a specific company alive in their minds. In my thesis project, I am combining the fields of marketing and visual cognition to measure and research if there are specific visual aspects of a logo people instinctively associate with different brand adjectives: sustainability, trustworthiness, and modern.

This document is the foundation for an app called Keeper. The app aims to help users keep track of and stay ahead of their schedule to avoid procrastination. The belief is that if a person can be proactive and avoid procrastination, there is a reduced chance that they will suffer from work-related stress. The app entices users to remain on schedule with small incentives such as beautiful pictures, inspirational quotes or jokes. The goal of Keeper is to help users gain and keep their responsibilities under control over their schedules and to be a simple source of positivity in the user's day.

We completed our thesis as a part of Founders Lab. Bottled Borders is an innovative gift giving service offering a SouthWest style mixology box. Our unique approach focuses on the SouthWest region of the US including Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. Our model allows customers to explore the flavors of the Southwest, featuring signature alcoholic beverage recipes from the five states, as well as garnishes and a bar tool kit. Each box also contains fun facts about each region, cocktail recipes, serving suggestions, bar tips, and exclusive video instructions. Targeting aspiring connoisseurs of culture and alcohol, Bottled Borders aims to democratize the exploration of cultures through beverages. We seek to bring the joy of travel and cultural discovery to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Our mission is to not only provide premium mixology mix but also to educate and immerse our customers in the history and culture of each region.
