With the rapid advancements in aviation technology, the concept of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) has gained considerable attention as a potential solution to address the growing demands for urban transportation. AAM refers to the use of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for short-haul flights within urban and suburban areas. However, the implementation of AAM systems requires careful evaluation of feasibility, considering the existing structure of the National Airspace System (NAS) and local planning considerations. This research paper presents a comprehensive framework to assess the feasibility of AAM corridors in urban environments. Firstly, the integration aspect focuses on evaluating the compatibility of AAM operations with the existing airspace infrastructure. The framework assesses the potential impact of introducing AAM corridors on airspace capacity, safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Additionally, it explores the required modifications or upgrades to existing NAS infrastructure to accommodate AAM operations.
